Hi, I’m happy to see that you found your way to my photography website.

I was always fascinated by the power that an image can exert on you, how it can affect your feelings and intrigue you with the story that it is telling. With the advent of digital cameras, I purchased my first camera in my early 20s, a Canon PowerShot A70. Playing around with it with no clear direction or vision, I mainly used it for travel photography, to capture the particularities of different cultures, the exotic allure of foreign countries.

When I opened a flickr account while being on a studay abroad program to share the photos I took there with family and friends, I also became exposed to all those great images from photographers around the world. This contributed a big deal in realizing that photography is such a beautiful way of expresion and that I definitely want to venture further in exploring the art . Seeing all those great photos, getting to know different photographical styles and also the powers of post-production all motivated me to take my hobby a step further.

Soon my first DSLR followed, I explored different genres of photography like architecture, street, landscapes, portraits and some macro photography as well. While loving each genre I also learned that I don’t find myself comfortable with exercising each of them, so during that learning process I more and more focussed on landscapes, cityscapes and archictural photography.

After moving to Munich, Germany in 2011, being only a one hour drive away from the alps, I quickly found great joy in combining my love with photography with being out in the mountains. Exploring these awe-inspiring landscapes, the unique feel being out there during those magical hours of sunrise and sunset truely gives great joy.
